OUR CURRENT CHAMPIONS
ALLEGRO
Andrew Ede and the crew of Allegro have been rewarded for their persistence in racing out of Harwich by winning the Relaxed Fleet in 2023. Members of RHYC, the Moody 31 also does some of the offshore races and it could be argued that they get the best value for their entry as they are often towards the rear but win out on handicap.
APEX
The team with all the monkey boat names led by Robert Leggett won a closely fought battle in 2023 for Experienced Fleet honours. Always well sailed Apex, an X332, has to make it from Fox's Marina for all the races, well done for the effort.
Robert's father Jonathan (of Chimp fame) must be very proud.
